Unabomber wages legal battle to halt sale of his papers
Here are the major points: 1. Does he still have legal intellectual property rights under the first amendment? 2. Should the federal government alter and sell his writings to benefit victims? My thoughts: I don't think the federal government should do this. Not because I care about Mr. Kaczynski, but because they are going to alter the papers. The public should have access to the original documents. I also think he obtains intellectual property rights, even if he is a terrorist he is still an American citizen. However, I also don't think he should make any profits off the writings either. Post your thoughts -------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?
