I believe so. He is more of a philosopher as nothing he ever did was very scientific and hes far from being the first person to question and theorize in what is psychology. He's far from being the father of psychology and no one follows anything he ever did very seriously but he did lay the groundwork for psychoanalyist which of course everyone knows what that is. a lot of people hate him though for bringing about pop psychology which would have been brought around eventually

Yeah, Im taking a freshman psychology class which is just about the gayest thing ever because you have all these little 18 year old kids that are going to leave class and try to psycho-analyze everyone.
I just dont like Freud. I think its funny that so many people praise him when hardly any of his practices and theories are used today. He did lead the way for a lot of study to be done, but I just think he was a ridiculous man. To each their own. And like I started to hit on earlier.... philosophers has been questioning everything for thousands of years....just think about Socrates. |
