i'd also like a rematch of the 2001 Alamo bowl vs. Iowa
i was at that game and it was pretty sweet. when the seconds went down and Kingsbury threw the hail mary, everyone in the endzone though the WR caught it and we had won. then 10 seconds later all the Iowa guys are cheering and we realized we lost

and he gets two free VIP tickets to the game, and thus I would get to go for free. . . . Id just have to split the price of a hotel/travel (i also have cotton bowl tkts, to sell) |

Texas A&M's victory over Texas shouldn't really affect the bowl picture, the Gator Bowl will just pick Texas over Oklahoma.

While I am not insane enough to think that the Alamo Bowl would hesitate for a second before picking Texas over Texas Tech or Kansas State, I just don't think the Gator Bowl passes on a chance to take the defending national champions.
Unfortunately, both other realistic options, the Sun or Insight Bowls, suck ass. The Insight Bowl isn't even shown on cable and the Sun Bowl is located in El "Asshole of Texas" Paso. |
