i've eyed the para hicap they have at academy, but i've heard a lot of hicap .45s have feeding probs

they tend to...but para seems to be the ones to make it work.

even if it fed well, the thought of a hi-cap 1911 w/ full mag seems cumbersome. the full size govt model is heavy ehough...

I mainly want the LDA trigger that they patented. shit is sweet. figured if I was getting one that pricey, then I might as well get it smaller than the govt for more carry options.

btw...earlier this week my new holster came in the mail...galco summer special for the full size 1911...



I've been wearing it nonstop since I got it and it's more comfortable than one might think. as well, it makes that big ass gun virtually disappear (as long as your shirt isn't tucked in). I highly recommend this holster.
