yeah I think you made a nice upgrade in your melee weapon lol... heh. don't knock the warhammer though... that thing flat out destroys shit. it's survived 4 years of killing everything from bricks, curbs, couches... chairs... and half the other furniture in cathryn's house during out parties and stuff... it's also EXTREMELY light. the sharpened claws will punch through a dumpster. (as witnessed by ritalinjunkie and zach) my only reason for wanting to replace it is the fact i currently don't have a quickly accessible scabbard/holster for it that will keep the handle from dangling around legs and getting caught on things. it will probably have to be strapped to the side of the backpack. (meaning i will require advanced warning to get to it easily) -------------------- |

Just when you said war hammer I was thinking something more like this: ![]() that yours, or just a pic you found? i went for more of an english warhammer style. longer handle, lighter wieght ![]() i might have found a decent way to "holster" the warhammer, though it'll take some crafting and experimentation -------------------- |

now that's the kinda stuff i can handle. i wanna see the damage after the head of that goes through someone's thigh. puncture wounds are the worst.... you can't stitch them, they take forever to heal, and they almost always have permenant damage... there is a high risk of infection, because you can't keep them covered like a normal wound. they have to breath (the scab is constantly moving, causing leaking, which needs the air to harden back up properly and quickly) and woa be the person who takes that puncture wound, and has the thigh bone shatter as well from the impact... -------------------- |

Yeah, machines can manage to get through normal barriers like.... fences... i'd be up for almost any apocalypse except alien or robot. i'd prefer a human on human conflict, more of a Red Dawn kinda thing. but, thats the most temporary of the situations. zombies would be good for that whole resetting of society thing, but there is no room for error in that one... one bite and you're snacked. -------------------- |

![]() this is my next gun purchase, i believe. WAS going to be the Keltec PLR-16, except Keltec has shut down the factory for the year, and the price of the PLR-16 is at almost $1000 now. the SIG 556 will provide that same small package, but will include a folding stock, and the name brand reliability of SIG Sauer. the shop down the street from me has several, cost about $1998 -------------------- |
