Streets of Fire

old 80's movie, reminds me alot of the plot to the video game Bad Dudes

rock star singer kidnapped and held hostage for no apparent reason by a motorcycle gang. ex boyfriennd, boyfriend, and this army chick set out to rescue her.

HIGHLIGHT william dafoe as the leader of the biker gang.... you see him in black leather/latex overalls for some reason....

I only get MTV and CNN. Right now they are airing a "Double Shot of Love" on MTV and looping the 30 minute "top headlines" on CNN. I am ready to get home...

I just saw the 1959 movie, On the Beach. That was pretty depressing.

I just finished re-reading Flowers for Algernon. Sad book. sad.gif

Almost done with a re-read of Storm Front, the first Dresden Files novel. Very good stuff. Strong writing from the get-go and not too much of the obvious "oh, I need to do some more world-building to fit this plotline" vibe that some other fantasy novels suffer from (e.g. Harry Potter and portkeys).

I know i'm late to the game, but I haven't had cable in years. But I recently caught an episode of The Big Bang Theory. I lol'd. a lot. proceeded to download both seasons and watched them all in the span of a few days.
