Your right when you say that fast food is bad for you, but with that being the case say you ate two 700 calorie meals a day at chick fil a. That would be about 1400 calories which is well below the daily average of 2000. Let us also say, that you do not drink sodas, drink water, take vitamens, and work out. You are looking at losing a lot of weight, especially if you are a fatty already.

Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

Especially if you just ate the salads.

yeah i guess i shouldn't have called the topic "Chick fil a diet"... i just meant that it was pretty surprising that it wasn't as bad as people might typically think.
on the other side of that, i'm sure lots of people think something like quiznos or schlotskys is good for you because it's a sandwich... |

some other tv show did an experiment where 3 people ate nothing but mcdonalds for a month. they all lost weight because they didn't supersize and they exercised. I am guessing that their hearts took a dive during this though... -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

one month of bad eating doesn't give you a heart attack. No, but it would contribute significantly to poor heart health and possible future heart problems. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

no one eats fast food for a month straight and then never eats it again. That one month of unhealthy eating does contribute to cholesterol levels.... plus, one month of eating nothing but fast food can cause gallstones. Its unhealthy...period.

Why do you think kids in America are the most unhealthy of almost all developed nations? because they've eaten bad for like 10-15 years, not just one month. i was just responding to hartmann when he said that one month of eating fast food would have significant affects on your heart health. |

One SOLID month of eating fast food, Impala. That's some 90 meals right there. It wouldn't cause irreparable damage, I'd wager, but it would still cause health problems.
In any case, I'll stick to my homemade lunches... fast food = blech. -------------------- |
