Just so everyone knows, Google Maps has been updated with new imagery of Lubbock, TX. The English/Philosophy/Education area is finally complete in this one.

You know what I hate about google maps? They only give you one small text box to type the address into instead of a text area.
Most websites list addresses on multiple lines like this: Texas Tech University 2500 Broadway Lubbock, TX 79409 To search for this in google maps you'd first have to copy/paste into notepad and take out the carriage returns so it all fits on one line: Texas Tech University, 2500 Broadway, Lubbock, TX 79409 I'll shave my balls and make a peanut-butter and nut hair sandwhich for whatever fucking google engineer thought a single line text box would be fine for addresses. I've put in countless suggestions and they refuse to fix it. |

Yeah, I agree, I hate how it cust off addresses on multiple lines... I think this is a cut & paste problem on OSs more than Google's problem. However, if they did put in a multi-line input, it would definitely help.
Lately I've been using Yahoo! Maps Beta, (http://maps.yahoo.com/beta) which is better in my opinion, but has the same problem posted above. However, you can select a point on the map and choose "From Here" and then select another point and choose "To Here" and get good directions. This helps when you are trying to find a irregular way to a place (Dallas to Lubbock via 114) -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |
