Thanks Suddenlink (formerly known as Cox) for your rolling blackouts throughout the city today. It warmed my cockles.

Comcast just got absorbed by Time Warner here and I am not sure how I feel about it. The service seems a little better.

everyone bitches about TW. I love it. I guess maybe its because I had it in El Paso and there the service is great....well, except their digital phone mad.gif I have to call my mom on her cell phone now because I hate talking to her on her house phone. When she flashes over to the other line...LOUD FUCKING BUZZING NOISE UNTIL SHE COMES BACK. She cuts out worse than a cell phone too. Its weird.

Time Warner is good, in my experience. I had RoadRunner service when I lived in San Marcos and it was great. The only problem we ever had was our cable modem going on the fritz, but they came right out and replaced it once we called. My parents in Waco had RoadRunner for several years as well. They switched to Grande Communications because it was cheaper, but I don't think they had any problems with RR.

almost all of them use larger companies as their carriers anyhow, it's all just local branding.
