honestly no. joe seems like a good guy. and joe has won 95 games his last 10 years or something. he had a great comeback this year. everyone thought the yankees were done. george is just greedy. but as a sox fan. yes.

talent?

we finally have a bunch of pitchers (morales, jimenez to name a few) that have been pitching at the Springs which has similar altitude/layout of Coors field. Because of this we have been more successful with our pitching. We have also done well with our offense but the pitching is the reason we have gone this far.

In the past we used to try and sign big free agents (Fogg, Hampton among others) and they have a hard time adjusting to Coors.

heh, hampton was such a flop. my only positive memory of him was a game i went to when he almost hit for the cycle

was it the mike hampton deal when larry walker voluntarily took a big paycut so the rockies could pick him up? or maybe that happened more than once...

Statistically they have the best defense in MLB history.

wow didn't know that our defense was that good thats pretty cool. Kaz and Tulo are probably the best defensive infielders.

And as an aside we have Vinny Castilla as one of our coaches, maybe he's bringing some mojo from the blake street bomber days

this nfl game in england is hilarious. it's like they're playing on a giant slip-n-slide.

and all the fans have whistles, so the players keep hesitating

Same, though I've become pretty disenchanted towards the Patriots for the last couple of seasons.
