QUOTE (Neoshaman @ Jun 18 2006, 10:30 PM)
Can the officials try any harder to keep the Heat in the game...

34 FT attempts for the Heat vs. 9 for the Mavs?

they foul them bc they've been so shitty at shooting FTs lately.

some of the fouls seemed a bit iffy. I was going for the heat because I have family in Miami and glad with the results. Lance you jumped on the bandwagon too soon!

it didn't help when howard burned off their last timeout during wade's freethrow...

i'm not going for the heat so much as against the mavs (years of college back & forth dallas vs houston arguing have made me hate dallas teams).

yeah some fouls were iffy but it went both ways. dirk's lemme-brush-up-against-you-while-i'm-shooting crap gets really old. mavs better step it up if they want to win game 6. people can say all they want about dumb fouls or dumb mistakes, but if the heat shot FTs as well as the mavs in that game it'd have been a blowout.

dwade is the star but there were lots of key plays by others... GP arguably hit the most important shots in the series. shaq was a double team magnet for most of the series. what I don't get is why dallas kept trying to play man on dwade... every time they went zone they contained wade pretty well.

i learned from this series that dallas fans like to whine more than any other team in the nba. you would have thought the series was over when they were up 2-0, then once miami won 3 straight, the nba is suddenly a conspiracy, and fixed.

on a side note i'm picking dallas over chicago in next years finals.
