Wingstop has the best fries IMHO Oh god... Wingstop fries RULE, but ever since I got pregnant I haven't been able to eat them. Well, my first trimester was the worst. The sheer smell of Wingstop had me running to the bathroom to puke. Wingstop food smells so strongly that I couldn't handle it. I like their fries, but I have to have water with them because the pepper they use sets my mouth on fire. The sugar is an awesome touch though.

Speaking of WingStop: Yeah, my husband prefers to eat at BWW also. San Marcos only has a Wingstop though I FINALLY tried their wings a couple weeks ago...absolutely horrible. The Atomics weren't even that hot. Plus, the service was absolute shit. BWW is 10000000000000000000000000000 times better. |

I have found that Wingstop is a very location dependent place. Some locations are awesome, others are terrible. The one at the loop & university knew us by name for several years and maybe they always did better for us or something.
About the atomics not being hot... I'd imagine you're either a firebreather or they didn't make them right. I don't get them but my bud who's a hothead had them once and he said they were pretty much the hottest available in lubbock, but didn't really like the flavor. They company might have toned down the sauce though because I know some people got pissed at how hot they were, and they'd always ask you like six times "you sure you want the atomic?" BWW to me is more of a bar type of place... the atmosphere is great for sports watching and such. Their wings are ok, but nothing that great IMHO. I think they're way overrated. Provided it's a good location I'd put wingstop original hot or hooters bentley ahead of BWW any day. BWW does seem to be more consistent though. |

BWW definitely had better flavor to me over both WingStop and Hooters (I love the Blazins).
Yeah, others tell me it's very location dependent as well. But to be honest, I'm not going to give them another shot. I trust the flavor of the wings will be basically the same and like I said: horrible. -------------------- |

Yeah, I definitely enjoy the atmosphere of BWW the best. If you go in and order Wingstop, they seem to take FOREVER... at least at the San Marcos location. I resorted to ordering before I went, and they still usually didn't have my order ready when I got there. I don't know. Their wings seem to be super greasy there. BWW wings don't seem to be dripping in grease. I have never had either so I really can't judge, but I just go off the way they smell and look. BWW wings aren't as strong on my nose.

Caribbean Jerk are also very good. Peppery and a nice little kick
Mango Habenero really aren't that spicy to me, but they have just enough heat to mix nicely with the sweetness of the mango. -------------------- |

Yeah, when we go, Shane usually gets the mango habenero and some of the garlic Parmesan. I think he gets honey BBQ on occasion. He orders the boneless wings though.
On an unrelated note, I STILL cannot get enough ice. I sit around all day eating ice. I LOVE IT. That and super duper cold water. YUM! |
