For dinner last night and lunch today I had cous cous w/ raisins and a salad with greens, tomato, red bell pepper, cucumber, and honey mustard dressing.

like I said...there has to be varying genetic makeups.

it can't just be "taste".

because if all I had for dinner was cous cous and a salad, I wouldn't have been able to sleep and I would be irritible.

my body demands sentient beings. there's no 2 bits about it. I've been grumpy the mornings I'm only eating fruit, so I may have to throw a hardboiled egg in that mix.

Well if it's any consolation, I'm making scallops in peanut sauce, rice, and mango salad for dinner tonight... (and, consequently, lunch tomorrow).

Yeah, I can't believe you dived right in like you did. Should've probably tried a more gradual approach:

1. Add some fruit.
2. Half the red meat.
3. No red meat; yes seafood.
4. Whatever else. You get the idea.

-----------------

I got this thing called Hunan Triple Delight from the Chinese restaurant for lunch today and have now found my new favorite food. Bye bye General Tso's Chicken, hello Hunan Triple Delight. More veggies (didn't know zucchini was good before today, but it is!), more spice, less deep fried meat.
