I don't know what made me remember this site. I don't remember any of your usernames. I think last time I posted, I was living in Seattle. After that, I lived in Oregon for a while. Now I live in Florida. All government work. Hi.

I'm now an unmarried Aggie, 27 years old, living in Seattle. I am now a military officer and drive a really big darn boat. We lost the Cotton Bowl tonight, but sadly weren't invited to the "TicketCity Bowl".

If you're interested, the A&M forum is just about as dead. Come breathe a little life into it at http://www.hobbes-forums.com

That squiggly shit in the upper left smacks of 90s ads. If/when I move back to Texas, I'll just get a custom plate with the bass or horn toad on it.

Good idea. There are only about 5 of us left on the A&M forum. We should do this too.

Ugh. I feel your pain. I'm teaching just outside of Austin right now at a 4A school.

On MWF, I teach TAKS math and science recovery classes. You can imagine what kinds of kids are in that class. Gangbangers covered from neck to wrist in gang tattoos, pregnant 16 year olds, etc. I expect those kids to be losers because they've lived really shitty lives, so I just focus on getting them to pass the exit TAKS tests and graduate high school, even though some of them are 20 years old.

On TR, I teach a college prep class. It's a lot nicer and the kids are a helluva lot more motivated, but I have several 9th graders who are on the fence between being a good kid and being a complete loser. This one kid I have was a geeky little Mexican kid who made straight A's. Sometime in the second six weeks, he started gelling his hair and failing most of his classes. I told him if he didn't straighten up, he was going to get kicked out of my class and he said he didn't care. When I told him he was bright and needed to go to college, he said he didn't need college because his dad didn't even finish 7th grade and makes $15/hr. I had to walk out of the room and relax for a few minutes because I wanted to verbally beat the shit out of him. Ugh.

I think I met you at that A&M/Tech game watching thing at that bar with Rocky.

Probably! When I saw that "Mommy" was the last person to post in this thread, I suddenly got a surge of adrenaline and thought, "Oh crap, how'd my mom find Techsans?"

You doing a themed or a formal? I'd would like to go with a hung Aggie from a bolo tie, but alas I am in Tucson.

Themed. All one has to do is wear a tie. Other clothes aren't so important.

Some of you may remember me from the A&M Hobbes forum invasion of '04...many of you may not. In any case, I have a photo of Rocky and myself for proof. Also, some Techsans girl whose name escapes me sent me a postcard from Florida or something when I lived in Sweden in '05.

For those of you who may live in Austin, I'm having a big party on Saturday, January 17th and I'd like some Techsans people to come for shits and giggles and so you can all tell me how Tech was so good at football this year and A&M wasn't and then I can say LOL OLE MISS AMIRITE. Ties are required at the party, just for fun.

If you want to come, facebook me. My name is Zach P. Cress.

also your crazy new version of invision weirds me out. visit www.hobbes-forums.com to see what the alumni from A&M are still using.

Rock and me, ca. 2006 during the A&M/Tech game

i've read numerous reports that smart cars don't really get much higher MPGs than, say, a honda civic, unless you get a diesel, which isn't even available in the US.

also deathcan.

None at all and it's KILLING ME.

I've always been curious where the sheepfucking thing came from. Neither I nor anyone I knew had heard that joke until I joined techsans many years ago.

I use Wells Fargo, but only because they're the biggest bank in College Station and have ATMs everywhere. I'm sure that as soon as I move elsewhere, I'll switch banks. Y'all are making ING sound pretty damn sexy.
