So WTF, Flash totally went to crap. I created an elaborate Flash video only to find out that you cannot link buttons like you could in older versions.

So here is where I am at: I've created buttons and I'm on the "Hit" part of the button and I'm trying to put an action to it. I want to link them to other websites but I'm not having any luck.

Here is the script I found online to use now:

myButton.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, onMouseClick);

function onMouseClick(e:MouseEvent):void
{
var request:URLRequest = new URLRequest(”http://www.myspace.com/lostjulymusic”);
navigateToURL(request,”_blank”);
}

When I put that in though, it disregards other actions that are in there. Why did they make it so complex? EFFING A

So I want to build myself a new computer but it has been a long time since I built my current one. Basically I just want some info on up-to-date hardware. What is good? What CPUs and video cards are bueno? I am mostly looking to use this computer for gaming--but I'm not a hard core gamer, just a social to moderately social gamer. I'll keep my current one for storing pictures, music, etc.

I do like the, "Tech Foiled by Aggies" headline. It won't happen, but it's creative.

I know this has nothing to do with this thread but I didn't want to make a new one.

These people gave us a shout out. I haven't read the entire article yet but, good job Tech?

yes and no...what are the hours like? thats a big one for me since im taking classes.

It just depends. We have events all the time. The manager is cool as all get out and she'll definitely work around your schedule. She'll want to know if you have lunch/dinner availability since that's when most people schedule events.

I liked having a AC in the dorms. Pretty good prices, you done craigslist?

Yeah, Craigslist is ridiculous. I put this crap up there and sold 2 things within one minute.

are you capable of delivering the couch? i'll buy it, and toss in an extra $10 if you have the ability to bring it to 21st and quaker.

Sorry bud, I don't have a pickup. I already have a buyer for it though.

Futon/Lofted bed ::

The black futon mattress doesn't come with it (it's my friend's, but I will ask if he is willing to get rid of it). It comes with a matress for the single bed up top if needed.

Price for the frame: $50
Price for the frame with the mattress: $75

Computer desk ::

Desk has some scratches at the top, but not noticable when the keyboard is on it. Some wear and tear where the mouse resides. More than happy to take pics of them.

Price: $25

Lexmark Ink Jet Printer (color)

Plugs into USB. It needs a blank ink cartridge. There is some color left though.

Price: $10

Couch

No pet stains or smoke. It's pretty comfy, I dunno, wtf do you want...it's a couch

Price: $25

Emerson 20-inch TV

There is a scuff on the screen. Doesn't affect the viewing really. More than happy to show you. It comes with remote and a free hand job by a third party.

Price: $20

32-inch Phillips Magnavox TV w/ remote

Works fine and dandy like sour crout candy.

Price: $90

Stereo

I took it apart one day because a stupid cd got stuck. For the electronically saavy there is a strip that I unplugged to get to the cd and low and behold could not find where it plugged back in to when the time came. So, the cd part doesn't work (unless you want to find out where the strip plugs into). I just use it for watching movies though. If you are looking for a cheap sound system for movies, this would fit your liking. Great bass (and trout). I figure the speakers themselves are worth at least $10/each.

Price: $15

Kenmore A/C unit

I used this mother in the dorms...illegally. Works great. Those hoes in Bledsoe can't tell me how to live my life.

You are correct sir. I mixed up this and no country for old men, what a waste of time.

Yeah I have been wanting to see that one too. I just thought There Will Be Blood was too drawn out and all of the music made it seem suspenseful to lead up to things but nothing ever happened.
