Fund the parents, not the schools. I.e. some kind of voucher system. Opens up school choice, performance is judged by parents rather than meaningless standardized test scores.

No, I don't have a detailed plan for how that would work, but I think the current state of things isn't working. And throwing more money at poorly-performing schools has little impact.

I have similar ideas that I'm so terribly conflicted about. Mandatory can't-fuck-with-it contraception. Vasectomies for boys (can be reversed), hormonal implants or IUDs for girls. Once you've passed some minimum success threshold (obtaining at least an associate's degree, for instance), you can petition to have the contraception revered/removed and procreate.

And you didn't answer my question, which was, how do you think throwing money at some poor school will improve a kid's overall quality of life and improve the whole neighborhood and desire to learn and make something of themselves? Are you going to have some super mega nice school in the middle of a poor ghetto neighborhood? What good will that do besides waste my tax dollars? Money can't make people want to learn.

If the school my kid is in is complete horse shit because the lawyers have completley tied the educators hands when it comes to dealing with complete fuckup kids who ruin the learning environment for other kids, I'm all for having aid in pulling my kid out of that school and putting them in a better and/or private school.

I can't disagree but I think it'd be more accurate to say that the job market has become saturated with easy, useless, pointless, worthless Bachelor's degrees. There hasn't exactly been a boom of Engineering degrees vs Business.

That was just a possible example. Perhaps the qualification for un-sterilization would be something like having a steady jobs, household making >25k/yr. Again, just examples. I just don't want the uneducated retards having a billiondy babies like they do know. Durrr, I'm too dumb to know how to use condoms, so I'll have 7 kids with my baby daddy, work part-time at Burger King, and be on welfare!
