I didn't say "fail the education system". I said you're never gonna un-ghetto the ghetto. Do you think if you throw billions to some bottom barrel schools it's going to make the students want to learn? Is it going to improve their neighborhoods and give these kids some kind of incentive to better themselves and look forward to college?
It's the typical democrat plan to throw more money into the government. Tax me more and give it to a school so they can buy a few new laptops that nobody cares about. School systems have such great track records for spending don't they? I welcome any plan that puts that money back in the taxpayer's hands so they can have the opportunity to send their kids somewhere else.
