if anything, brokeback mountain was a movie about a bisexual love affair in an untolerant discourse community...and the inevitable pitfalls that entails...
ledger was a really good actor. rare in these times. he had being a cowboy down as well as tommy lee jones and robert duvall in lonesome dove. I was hoping he'd make a shoot em up, non-depresso buttsechs western. bummer. that lil baby is the one that will pay for his selfishness...growing up without a daddy. edit: I'm really f'ing glad they finished batman though. I have zero doubt his performance will be epic and will partially define his career. |
