The Craigslist post did exist, but whether it was sincere or not is undetermined.

That having been said, it's still really nice being an engineer dating another engineer. Similar interests AND incomes.

I would never date anyone in the same field as me. There would always be an inherent sense of competition and there would be too much alikeness that is almost creepy.

Well perhaps for selfish reasons... but still. The last thing I want is to have to maintain some standard of living for a chick who was raised wealthy. Girls who were raised wealthy, but still have modest standards of living, and pay for everything themselves, are few and far between.

Wow, I agree with your statement. I find myself surprised.

I can't remember where I heard this from (some psychology peeps might know) but the best relationship for men to have with women is when the woman comes from a lower socio-economic class so that they are always more gracious for what they have....or I could have just made that up, shrug*

Well, I'm a mechanical engineer and he's CS. I am currently working primarily as a programmer at work, but my boyfriend and I do very different work. We are a like in a lot of ways, though, and I like that.

Well if they're from a less well-off family, it's less likely they'll have a high standard of living you (the breadwinner) will have to maintain.

They hate mississippi.

Fuckmuffin. That word and muffintop are the two coolest things I've ever seen on this place. What would happen if a fuckmuffin fucked a chick with a muffintop? That's a lot of muffins. A lot of motherfuffin muffuckins.
