there is no double standard... see my problem (if you can even call it that) with you having a fiancee from WoW does not lie in the fact that you met her online, but rather that you play WoW...

I'm fine with the fact that she hates me for playing WoW and all that, whatever, but if she wouldn't give me shit over the fact that I met my fiance over WOW, it wouldn't be a problem.

I mean, I could say that she's dated what, 2 people from Online (even if she didn't "meet" them online) and they were both big assholes and she's got a big problem all in all, but whatever. She can think whatever she wants, at least I'm happy smile.gif

Hmmmm.....I dunno how I feel about dating someone you met online. I've done it, and its often gone sour. I find it's easy to portray yourself as something you're not via online, and when you are together in person you find out they're not what they advertised.

This most recent guy I am talking to I met via friends....this is my first time being set up (blind) by friends who wanna play matchmaker, but I am kinda enjoying it. It's kinda embarrassing to me to say, "the internet" when someone asks where I met a boyfriend.

why am I posting this shit...

ok, I think the best thing to do is meet someone in person...get a feel of your chemistry (you can be visually attracted to someone and have zero chemistry with them...or so-so looking and mucho chem...), then proceed talk via email or Im or whatever. that way you learn more about each other without being distracted by bootays, tittays and bulging packages.

face to face has to happen though. chemistry is a big thing.

Thats true....ive met guys online and chemistry seemed great (after talking an extended period of time), and then we met in person and NOTHING. So now if i meet someone online, I like to meet in person and hang out pretty early.

Yeah, Ive talked to people casually online, but I dont think I could ever try to meet someone from the internet. Then again, Im easily fooled by guys so even a person a guy can come off as a total sweetheart and turn out to be a real asshole.
