You don't have pride in anything do you? i don't feel the need to advertise that i belong to a certain group. i know who i am, and i don't need other peoples validation of that fact. Yeah... right. "Vote for me so I can look at your vagina." that sounds like dogmeats campaign slogan -------------------- |

So just because you don't feel the need for those reasons, you automatically assume those that do put stickers on their vehicles are doing so for those reasons? Is it not simply that someone puts the shit on their car because that's what they like? Do you wear t-shirts with your favorite bands on them? |

how? ron paul is an obgyn. he's not telling making ads promoting his business. But he does use his status as an OBGYN to backup his feelings on abortion. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

Do you wear t-shirts with your favorite bands on them? nope. btw, i feel the same way towards anyone who feels the need for group affiliation. people wearing cowboys jerseys, or any other football team you want to fill in, black guys who will only wear Jordans or FuBu, dumb cunts obsessing over Prada bags, etc. it's peoples natural tribe/gang mentality, where they HAVE to belong to something that irks me if you want to be a christian, do so. humility is one of the key lessons of the bible, so you shouldn't have to constantly remind others of your ideals, because then it becomes a fashion statement no better than a prada bag -------------------- |

That's what I'm getting at though. Why does my desire to wear an Astros t-shirt make you feel like I have to be part of a group? I wear the shirt because I like the Astros, not to try to make some fucking statement. I'm not trying to affiliate myself with some damn group.

You don't have pride in anything do you? referring to forsaken putting a tech sticker on his car...i don't think it would apply because he didn't attend tech, or at least didn't graduate. afaik. -------------------- ![]() |

because it's so in your face that it's hilarious. even rudy made fun of him (i think?) i haven't seen the ad from hillary that says "today is gay pride day.... today we love gays. gays are the reason for the season." i'm not dissing him for doing it. if that's his audience, fine, do what it takes. i'm not, so i can think it's funny. i think it's kinda like the magnets on the back of the cars. "look at me, i'm a good person." actually hillary is touting the christian thing more than everyone else. that's what i've been told at least. i haven't kept up with her. -------------------- ![]() |

But he does use his status as an OBGYN to backup his feelings on abortion. well kind of. he doesn't say "well I've delivered so many babies that I believe life is precious, yadda yadda yadda..." it's more of a "well if I hurt a fetus I could be sued as the doctor for hindering life, so why is the abortion debate any different?" -------------------- ![]() |
