my god, that is sad. If I ever got a ring from someone I love and respect, I would wear that thing no matter what the price like it was the most expensive ring on the planet...because it came from somebody great. I know that sounds cheezy, but that's how I feel. It's just a symbol. When I hear girls talk about expensive rings I think to myself "wow, that ring is a symbol that she is a gold digger."

Yeah this reminds me of that BS "2 months of the man's pay for a ring" rule. Sure, carry a friggin $500 phone, wear $800 worth of clothes, but seriously do you need to carry $10,000 on your effin finger everywhere you go?
