Bah, screw your advice. The best way to quit caffeine is cold turkey!
Ok, maybe not... but it worked for me. ::shrugs:: -------------------- |

Ok, maybe not... but it worked for me. ::shrugs:: I guess I should expand on my situation a little more... I was drinking about 4 cups of strong, strong coffee in the morning, then a few sodas, and usually iced tea later. Yeah, I drank water but not a lot. I started getting very bad migraines and was pretty much dependant on caffeine to just make it through the morning, which means I had to endure the headaches. The only real option was to wean myself off of it. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

The only real option was to wean myself off of it. I didn't drink coffee or tea, but I guzzled soda. I used to go through 2 liters or more of soda (coca cola or generic versions) in a day. I did get headaches when I first quit, but not migraines. After about 3 days cold turkey, I didn't really get 'em any more. But withdrawl affects people differently. Cold turkey worked for me, weaning worked for you... it's all good. Gotta do whatever you gotta do to overcome the addiction. -------------------- |

If you have regular tea and want it caffeine free, after the first minute of steeping pour out the water and pour more hot water

I would personally go see a Doctor. There's about a million things that can cause fatigue. It may just be that you're having a hectic schedule and are feeling tired. Or it could be something more serious. It's too hard of a problem to diagnose without going to see a professional.
