believe it or not, this actually happened first a few years ago, dunno why it never got more attention.

Pretty sure he donated his sperm by having sex w/the woman. The man also sent the kid presents and cards. He let his name be put on the kid's birth certificate because he thought it'd be in the child's best interests. His agreement to not have any rights or benefits in raising the child was a non-binding verbal agreement.
So my guess is the normal sperm donating at the sperm bank via anonymous paperwork and then artificial insemination is probably safe. |

Ok, granted, he was an idiot. It does sound like he "donated" by either having sex with her or jacking off into a cup and giving her a turkey baster or some crap like that.
But... #1: The kid is 18. I've never heard of someone being legally obligated to pay child support past that point. What's with this "until 21" crap? Something particular to Oregon? #2: QUOTE Nassau County Family Court Judge Ellen Greenberg ruled on Nov. 16 that despite the mother's willingness to have the child's DNA tested, the man was barred from seeking a paternity test to determine if he is truly the father because the results could have a "traumatic effect" upon the child, who is now 18 years old and lives in Oregon with the mother. What kind of pussy is this kid if he can't handle such news as a legal adult (again, age 18)? i see this all the time. kids can receive support as long as they're obtaining a degree, and i think it can continue forever if the guy owes back-payments. it's all on a case by case basis, but i think it's usually when they graduate from HS, but quite often 21+ saw a lady today who is getting $14k/mo in alimony and 6k/mo in child support. can only imagine how much the husband makes. !!!!! |

i think it was done in a sperm bank or through insemination. the woman is a lesbian with a life partner of more than 18 years. the man and the woman were coworkers (both doctors). i really dont think they would have just up and went to have sex to do it
