I know it's only an hour, but there's a big difference between feeling like it's Noon and feeling like it's 1:00 p.m. I'm getting there on the 29th, so I should definitely be adjusted to Eastern time by January 1. |

I seen tix going for 80 on Ebay. I'm not that big a fan of Tech to go to that bum bowl game.

Virginia played a bunch of nobodies. They played two ranked teams (if you want to count #24 Wake Forest at the time). From their record it looks like they were about 10 pts from being a < .500 team. Of course I'm no expert, but my early guess is that we'll roll em.

Impala is right. They're an average football team.
If you look at who they have played, they've only played one team (Georgia Tech) ranked higher than 70 in total offense; the average of their opponents' rank in that category is 98. So, sure, they have a top 30 defense, but they haven't played anyone worth a damn offensively. Virginia hasn't seen anything like Texas Tech's offense this year, and they are pretty horrible at putting points on the board. Now, obviously games aren't played on paper... but this is a game that the Red Raiders should dominate from beginning to end. |

Wow, we probably shouldn't have won that game. We played like crap. So many missed catches.
The one thing that really pissed me off was the penalty call for unsportsman-like conduct. That was the most absurd call of the year. I think that one play made Virginia get further than they were supposed to, that's for sure. Other than that, it was a good game. Glad we came out on top. |
