Wow, I could not ask for a better final game at Texas Tech. I never thought that I would rush the field. *shrugs* The cops bore their batons but they did not do shit.

that was Tech's highest ranking win in history, beating #3 OU. Before that it was 2002's upset vs. #4 UT...and that game was awesome.

just got back, that game was amazing we outplayed them the entire game, good thing we didn't fuck it up at the end...
I was about to leave when we were up 21 with 8 or so minutes left and OU had the ball and it was 3rd in long deep in their own territory...they called timeout and I told my friend who I went with "will see how this drive plays out then we can decide" sure enough <bam> next play touchdown, and Iwas like Ohhh shit... Good thing our defense wasn't worthless, they are what won us the game by far... and also, we could not stop whoever was returning kickoffs from OU...he would get auto15-20 yards every single time.... --------------------  |

just went to texags and all they can say is shit like "they're winning because ou sucks, not because tech is doing good" except they always spell tech "tceh" which is fucking annoying. seriously, i don't think you could do a search on their forums with the word "tech" and find anything. and they also love calling us tards...
posts like this want me to go to college station and kill their dog..or something QUOTE not so much envy. i don't envy 8-4 (assuming tceh wins). i don't envy a third tier education. i don't envy being in lubbock, at any point in my life.
...honestly, the only word that comes to mind when i think of tceh is disgust. everything about tceh disgusts me. the town, the school, the students (including my friends that go there), and the fact that tceh students at one time wanted to go to a&m or texas, get rejected, and out of nowhere just choose to hate those schools. that actually sounds more like envy to me. -------------------- |

The end of the game scared me a little. I felt like we were seriously lacking in the second half as far as the offense goes.
Had we put two more touchdowns on the board I would have been much more comfortable. Also, what did everyone think of the replay call for OU on that touchdown? From the angles they showed I couldn't tell if he bobbled it or not. And there was no interference at all. Just great coverage by the DB. Was that better than the 2002 UT game? I'm sort of biased since I wasted $600 bringing my entire family down to watch the game and then seeing Simms buttfuck their chance at at a Big 12 championship and possible BCS title game. So I'm somewhat biased. Did anyone tape it? I had it taping and I left at halftime and my mom didn't realize it so now the second half is a fucking Lifetime movie. -------------------- |
