Well I don't give what the commentators say all that much credit usually. What I saw in the replay was his toe hit in first, before his heel went out. I'm not exactly sure how the rule works but I'd think that counts as in. If Leach wants to complain about that one call ruining the whole game, I suppose that's his prerogative, but it looks pretty childish IMO. I don't think it helped/changed UT's momentum at all, as they were marching it down the field at ~9 yards per carry without needing any help from the refs. It's the tackling specifically. Our guys are about the worst tacklers I've seen. They don't wrap up and try to strip the ball too much.

Now comes the whole debate on "was the toe dragged, or did it only touch"

In the NCAA the toe touching doesn't mean anything, unless the heal comes down in bounds, but dragging the toes shows clear control of where you are landing....or some stupid shit like that.

However, aside from that, they showed later that the white in the endzone does not mark out of bounds. The pylons (which are a couple inches inside the white) do. Kind of a dishonest thing to do with the paint scheme of the field...but whatever.

The thing that pisses me off the most about this game is that offensively, we ran the fuck over them. Defensively, we just couldn't keep them from converting.

Oh, and the refs were sucking giant amounts of dick. I think that had something to do about it as well.

Bitching only makes us sore losers.
I found the bright side... UT winning made 6th street hella fun last night.
Chear up, gang. There are many more games against UT to come... and many more times we will beat them. It will happen.

Stop whining like little bitches.

Tech was outplayed by a better team. Simple as that. The refs had nothing to do with it. The same thing happened last year, in fact I remember joining a Facebook called "We got fucked by the refs!" or something and arguing endlessly about it. Tech fans thought the same thing last year

Stop collectively being cunts and take responsibility. You lost. To a much better team. Same as last year, the year before, the year before, etc. Crying and making excuses might make you feel a little better, but it doesn't change the end result. Grow the hell up.

I don't like losing it but I did. Sorry

Stop making excuses is all I'll say. It's about as immature as my response.

By the way, the latest standings came out. OU is ranked ahead of Kansas. The OU who lost to Colorado, who Kansas beat. The OU who has one loss, which is one more than Kansas. If someone can rationally explain that, I'm all ears

Funny how it happened last year indeed.

And no one is saying we lost because of refs. We are saying the refs sucked balls and favored UT as always.

so stop being a whiney cunt that your team gets all the ref love wub.gif

Well, Kansas can prove them wrong at the big 12 championship

A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

I'm looking at the standings, and KU is #3 and OU is #4 in the BCS rankings. Isn't that the one that really counts in the end?

I don't think we lost because of the refs but I think there were some definite missed calls and poor judgment.

The call on his heel being out, that they continually showed on the jumbotron really looked like he was out of bounds. Every Longhorn around us figured that the call would be reversed and when it wasn't, they were pretty much astonished.

On the play where McCoy got thrown into the end zone there were about 3 calls that could have been made there, I saw a linemen jump (as did everyone seated around me) and two missed holding calls.

The dropped pass in the end zone was a dropped pass. The holding, in my opinion was weak, to say the least.

There were two late hits, one where the pass was dropped in the end zone and one just a little earlier in the game, neither was called.

It was just frustrating to watch and listen to Longhorn fans be just as appalled by the calls as I was.

the bcs computer averages 1part computer score 2 parts voting score, so a bad voting score can bump them down(had kansas had a 3 rank in the polls they would prob be number 2). its all moot though, kansas still has to play missouri and a win there will push them to number 2 most likely... of course then the winner will have to play the big12 champ... fun lineup.
