God I can't wait to go back to school and get my MAT. Then I can finally practice!

I've got a few schools narrowed down....all out-of-state.

Yeah, I'm just doing St. Mary's to appease the parents. I'm also applying to LSU and UNM

Seconded. I've fucked myself because of my majors/activities.

I'll never be happy unless I'm doing one of four things as my "job."

1.) MMA
2.) Upper level political science work
3.) Upper level history work
4.) Something involving the outdoors/nature

So I'll be happy when I'm back in school seeking my PhD.

I want to go back to school but I don't know where to go. I have too many hours to go to ACC, I don't have enough money to go to St Edwards, and I'm sure as hell not moving to San Marcos

You don't have to move to San Marcos to go to Texas State. We have many students that commute from Austin to San Marcos for school

Why not UT?

And this is the #1 reason why traffic is FUCKED in San Marcos. Seems sometimes like there are more commuters than permanent residents.

I've never come across traffic at all. We have more permanent residents as students, but we have a large number of commuters from Austin. No biggie. It's not like it's far. We even have buses that go from North and South Austin.

That's my problem...they're all out of state and they're so scattered that I dont know where to go.

Although, top of my list is San Jose State...their MAT program has an education track so I can teach later.

Maybe things have improved since I lived there. I lived on Aquarena just east of the stadium and usually took the bus onto campus (took my bike a lot too, but it really just depended on where my first class was). There was always major traffic backup along Aquarena, then again at LBJ on the loop up to the student center. I think they may have made that bit of LBJ buses-only, though? The big problem there was people driving up and dropping people off. I also heard horror stories from commuters about how bad the parking was.

Parking isn't bad... students just don't want to park at Bobcat Stadium. I live off of Post Road and take the Post Road bus every day. My biggest issue with Auxiliary Services not informing students when bus stops close down
