but yeah the guys on here should totally be the voice of female fashion! that would be a terrifying world I'd wager I've forgotten more about style than most people will know in a lifetime. I told the chicks that shit looked terrible and the reasons why. they blasted me and told me to go back to my treebark camo hunting garb. a month later they've all sold their shit at buffalo exchange and make fun of those fuckin house shirts. female fashion is a crapshoot. the fashion industry gets bored and try new things. and women hop all over it because that is what's all over the mags and in the stores. there's no harm in that at all. it's when they hold onto something that should have been shitcanned the first few months, where the problem lies. history is littered with female fashion disasters that hung around far too long...highwaisted jeans in the 80's/90's (I call them "long-gina jeans...you know the ones with the 12 inch zippers)...stretchy tshirt material stirrup pants and the whole "units" phenom...I could go on. houseshirts and the like are terrible. you want a flowy freeform look? wear a damn babydoll dress or something. those are cute.

and how are those different from the one i posted? they arent different at all. i agree with that statement. those are not to my liking. but the difference is the tightness in the middle section. the under-boob region. it actually shows off some figure. -------------------- |

and how are those different from the one i posted? they arent different at all. QUOTE but the difference is the tightness in the middle section. that ^^ the princess cut dress is much more flattering than the houseshirt billowing style simply because there is a shape. that dress you posted is one of the more flattering versions of the houseshirt style I have seen. women have boobs. they are aestheically pleasing much the way the fins of a 57 chevy are. when you just let the cloth hang off them without gathering it is akin to chopping the fins of a chevy off. you're left with just a mundane car. that's what those shirts do...make women mundane. |

Actually, I like that first "no" one you posted.
But at least for me, usually it's not about fashion. It's about comfort. So yes, I do like wearing things that show off my curves, but sometimes you just wanna wear something loose and breezy, flattering cuts be damned. *shrugs* -------------------- |

I wish I were gay so women would take my fashion advice seriously...
when some 220lb scruffy dude in flipflops starts putting his 2 cents in...it usually gets tossed out with an eyeroll and an "okay..." |

i still think you guys believe womens' fashion revolves around making sure guys are able to get "boners". women do have their own aesthetics
you can easily put an empire waist on a bubble dress. the style has been reoccurring throughout the decades so it is somewhat timeless but not "classic" so yes its more of a fad/trend which is actually a year or two old and moving out so you guys can try to get your boners back if at all possible -------------------- Little monkeys making money

i think you are wrong yet again cathryn.
there is a big difference between slutty and cute. i will take cute anyday over slutty. a fluffy turtle neck is a wonderful thing. i love them. -------------------- |

GAWD, turtlenecks SUCK! I guess they look alright, depending on who's wearing one, but I for one have never been comfortable wearing one. They leave me vaguely feeling like someone is choking me.
