the house i bought in lubbock was $72k and it's a purty nice ~1700 sq ft two story corner lot. condos usually have the appeal of being close to everything, but yeah in lubbock everything is close.

housing is cheap in lubbock, although the trend has been increasing quite a bit lately. (cha ching on my now investment property!
 )
