If you park out by the USA, near the radio station, stay away... It's a cluster fuck out there and nothing but utter chaos.
Tech screwed up and there definitely is not enough parking during an icing of the parking lot. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

All the lots were open when I got to school just before 8, but it was nearly impossible to leave! They're blaming it on icing of the lots?

QUOTE (kendra @ Mar 23 2006, 09:44 AM) All the lots were open when I got to school just before 8, but it was nearly impossible to leave! They're blaming it on icing of the lots? I think it has something to do with ice on the ground and on the tower... but who knows... When I got to school right at 9, the entire lot behind the radio/tv station was closed. I hopped a curb and parked out there anyway. The buses are running right behind each other. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

They shoulda sent out something!
All they had were some cones that looked as though they were placed there as a joke so people just drove around them. If they would have just had a sign posted or something half of the confusion would have been lost. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

Does anyone know if they're still all blocked off? I'm trying to decide whether or not I want to go back, or just have someone drop me off.

Some people in this class said they were about 20 minutes ago... so I would assume yes. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

One would think that the university would have de-iced it by now.

They are afraid of ice falling off the radio tower., I don't blame them, but hell if I'm not going to park there.

according to the SGA its the not the lots themsleves that have ice but that there is a threat of ice falling off of the radio tower. I love how they fail to communicate with us.
