I voted yes. I think BW is more of a liability than an asset at this point. The mission they are tasked with is very important and necessary, however the name BW carries with it a negative connotation.
There are plenty of publicly unknown, well qualified PMCs to pick up those state dept contracts. BW will continue to train everyone at myock, but get them out of Iraq and calm the people down. |

Their high-vis rockstar bravado is their undoing here...
I started looking at them out of the corner of my eye when Sig started selling the "Blackwater" 226...that was around the same time I was in-transit and saw this dude at the airport who was a walking BW billboard with the shirt and ballcap, and tactical gear for travel...talk about advertising "kidnap me"...I looked like a dirtball who just got finished with a recreation drug vacation to amsterdam. there is a term in the community..."quiet professionals"...these guys have forgotten about that I guess... |

Pretty interesting article on the situation and the utter confusion about this. It sounds like a few new guys did the wrong thing. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |
