im no eminent scientist but i wonder what his experimental procedure was and about his data. but everyone knows an inflammatory theory can be great for your career even if its a scientifically weak one!

i was also shocked by

Watson is a douchebag. Him, Crick, and Wilkins took all of the glory for discovering the DNA structure yet they heavily based their research from Rosalind Franklin's previous research. They also had her help in the whole process yet not once did she ever receive thanks by them. In fact, Watson later turned around and talked badly about her (much against the advice of Crick and Wilkins) in his book (The Double Helix).

That could be true with statistics, but DNA is really complex the smartest person in the world could be a pygmy in the middle of the Congo.
