the only way i can get her to go clockwise is if I turn my monitor upside down!

this is pretty trippy, I can't believe I am the only one who sees it going counter-clockwise, I guess this animation works at least somewhat!

but the article notes that most people see it going counter-clockwise, and so far the poll states 7:1 where most people see it going clockwise, so that's weird.

you have to switch those in your mind though. it can be done. squint really hard at it, and take what you think is one ankle passing in front of the other, and imagine that same ankle passing behind the other instead, and that it's her left foot on the ground instead.

the gif definitely does not change. that was the first thing i did was load it into a gif animator to check the frames nerd.gif

I cannot see it rotating counter clockwise (anti-clockwise? I've never heard it referred to as that). I'm not sure that's even possible.

WHOA. ok i turned my head sideways and watched it until i finally noticed it going the other way. then i tilted my head slowly back to its normal position and i couldnt get it to go back to the way it was! finally i had to close my eyes and then it was back to going clockwise...weird stuff. i cant understand this stuff!

ok. turn your head 90 degrees left and watch it, and then 90 degrees right and watch it. for me, it changes the image. its weird.
