Why not have a gun, then, to shoot your dog that attacked you? The one you bought to protect you from mountain lions?

because if you're making an argument that you need a gun to protect from a cougar then you can make an argument that you need a gun to protect from rover, which is attacking more than a cat, which is stupid cause very few people get attacked by domestic dogs. ever.

i liked attacking with ladders better.

The point is, banning guns is pointless. We've banned drugs and do you see where we are today with that?

Its funny, i didn't know guns made me feel like i had a bigger dick by sitting in my closet quietly until cmac told me. Thank you cmac you've opened my eyes to the fact that my completely safe and rightly used gun is wrong because others misuse guns. And since others in this world are violent and misuse tools in order to kill people i should have mine taken away, even though it is a protection for my home as well as something i in general like to use for sport.

Keeping things out of the wrong hands isn't the answer, a blanket ban for nothing but reasons of stupid fear is obviously the answer. Pry it from my hands.

and has lance posted yet? this is usually his soap box... along with cops being evil of course.

yeah I'll just go buy a bigass dog and leave him out on the property 3 hrs away. that'll fix my lil red wagon.

return 2 months later to some rabid cujo fucker trying to kill me (or a dog that is missing for a variety of reasons). that'll be much better than just having a field gun on my hip in case I come upon a mtn lion or pack of boar.

moron.

seems more simple than sitting on your porch with your rifle, budweiser and american flag waiting to blast any animal that may happen to roam onto your land.

Since some people cannot show personal responsibility we should take everyone's choice to show responsibility?

Wow. And I thought the people on the right were harsh.

gun = trigger happy red neck... good to know

wow

I love how perfectly normal individuals who see the use of a firearm as ok = tiny dick red necks who need guns to feel big. The logic is outlandish. Make a law to keep guns away from the wrong people instead of punishing normal everyday americans for being responsible with firearms.
