One of my friends was writing a note on facebook which got me to thinking.
The media is all up in arms about the Vick 'Em shirts because it's about animal cruelty. not to mention how tech has always had stuffed dogs hung up on nooses/sticks at pep rallies and games. i never go to games and i remember seeing those around my freshman year

this kind of negative press for tech would normally bother me, but most news programs I've seen it on show it, and try to talk about it seriously, but end up laughing and basically saying the aggies are a bunch of prudes and that it's a joke. even here in Houston the radio peeps were laughin their asses off. rush mentioned it on his show the other day and couldn't stop laughing either. and conan o'brien did a mascot thing last night, and had a "texas tech cheerleader w/tourettes" (even though it was completely the wrong color)

I've never seen a "Saw 'Em Off" sticker while in Lubbock. Except when the Aggies are in town.
