the guy is an idiot for getting something he doesn't understand tattooed, but the tattoo artist is also at fault if the guy came in and said "i'd like love, honor, and respect written in chinese on my arm".

Hahaha. I was Six Flags many years back and some white guy had a ball cap and there was a chinese character on it. It meant "Farmer".
