QUOTE
One example of how the voice-over changes things is that in one episode, Bear claims to have caught a rabbit in his trap and he eats it. But the voice-over reveals that the crew caught it for him. Bear says in the new voice-over, "My trap didn't catch anything overnight, but I've been brought a rabbit to tell you what to do if you're luckier than me."

well, if you have no food, and you come across a sheep with an eye, i suppose you can survive by eating it.

i've been watching survivorman since man vs. wild hasn't been shown in a while.
not a bad show either.
a little frustrating at times when he wears the helmet camera and everything is shaking, and he's got too big of an ego about that damn harmonica.
but overall, good show

I've also been watching more Survivorman recently...and I now enjoy that show more than Man vs. Wild (although I still enjoy both).

DAMMIT, I haven't seen much of the new season!

I did see the Alaska one with the shelter burning incident. I laughed but he was able to fix it back up.

Did anyone see the Survivorman "how it's made" episode?

It was cool. He meets with local guides to learn the area, the plants, the animals, etc. so he doesn't die, then they pick out an exact location and try to make it as remote as possible. On one episode outtake they showed boats in an Alaskan harbor where fisherman had come to look for salmon and another one they showed where he ran into snowmobilers asking if he needed a ride.

The Amazon jungle one was pretty freaking sweet as well.

Yeah, I saw that episode. Good stuff.

I need to buy both Survivorman and Man vs. Wild on DVD.
