It is sad that the Defense is so horrible... but even more horrible that we would have won but for the turn overs and non-catch in the 2nd half.
Why can't leach pick up "how to run a defense" as a hobby instead of pirates? Seems like that would be more productive -------------------- |

amendola only needed one more catch to tie a school record, he dropped every ball that would have been it. i don't blame any dropped pass in the least bit at all though. when you put up a 45 spot on the road, you damned well better win. especially against oklahoma lite. the fact that leach took action and fired this loser DC is promising.

yeah parcells is a very good friend of bobby knight, and has been to several tech games (both fball and bball) since knight has been here. would be sweet to get a lil help from him.

Well of course the D sucked... but they knew that going in and had 2 fumbles, mistakes to take us out of field goal range, and turn over on downs... all in 4th When D only allows you to be ahead by 1 td at that point you can't afford to make back to back to back to back mistakes -------------------- |

1.) Lyle's didn't resign, his ass got fired.
2.) You joke, but Bill Parcels was actually the defensive coordinator of the Red Raiders in the mid-1970's. Interestingly enough, current Cleveland Browns head coach Romeo Crennel was brought onto Parcels' staff at Tech as a Graduate Assistant. 3.) If Ruffin McNeill's defense shows moderate improvement, then Coach Ruff'll be your defensive coordinator next year. He's a charter member of Mike Leach's staff, is generally loved by his players, and is a hellacious recruiter. If I had to bet, I'd say the "interim" tag next to his title gets knocked off at the end of the season. |

I knew this shit was coming since 2004 (or was it 2003 ?) when leach hired some old hack to rejuvenate the defense.
How many games did it cost us to realize that the other teams quarterbacks never fear our defense inside the pocket? As someone pointed out, no blitz defense. are you kidding me?
