i'm not skeptical of iphone users. and yeah i can "wrap my mind around the fact" (LOL) that it's three separate devices all in one, because that's exactly what the phone i've had for over a year can does. (except way more than 3 devices) so where does the difference between it and the iphone lie? the apple trendy/cool factor. well I guess to sum it all up...a big easy to use touchscreen -------------------- FUCK YOU

Maybe instead of being "caught up in apple talk" I actually think it is easy to use, why must I be duped or brainwashed in order to find something easy to use? I don't much care for some things apple does much like I don't like some things that microsoft does, but apple has the superior product in this instance. Would it be different if I were saying these great things about a nokia or samsung windows mobile based product, or would I still be "caught up in windows/samsung/nokia/whatever talk"? -------------------- FUCK YOU

It's oh-so easy to use that you have to resort to hacks to change your background. Now that's what I call easy!

i think he's talking about this:
http://superfluousbanter.org/archives/2007...phone-dockswap/ http://superfluousbanter.org/archives/2007...ze-your-iphone/ http://superfluousbanter.org/archives/2007...ne-summerboard/ obviously you can easily change the background on the iphone within the settings section to change the gui interface you can "hack" it. i'd love to see someone change the icons on their samsung. -------------------- Don't sweat the petty, pet the sweaty.

No, its ok, he is totally right, being able to run third party applications and "hacking" the interface of the phone is something that makes the iPhone worse. I hate having a large development community working without pay to bring me new features.

if apple provided the features people wanted then people wouldn't have to hack new ones... bad quality on apple's part

to 1up:
well then never buy an application for your computer, if it was worth anything it would have been included in the operating system, and if it wasn't then it is bad quality on the part of the OS development team and they should feel bad about it. To impala: well maybe its the most used line because its actually easier to use, not because of some sinister "apple fanboi" plot. also, thank you for helping me prove my point to 1up. 1: no one is faulting the wm users for modding their devices, why are you faulting iPhone users for the same thing wm users do? 2: "if windows mobile provided the features that people wanted then people wouldn't have to hack new ones...bad quality on microsoft's part" -------------------- FUCK YOU

1: no one is faulting the wm users for modding their devices, why are you faulting iPhone users for the same thing wm users do? when did i say i was "faulting iphone users" for modding their devices?? all i've done the last several posts is laugh about the "it's so easy to use" crap. 2: "if windows mobile provided the features that people wanted then people wouldn't have to hack new ones...bad quality on microsoft's part" people hack them because they can, not because the features don't exist. ooh and look it's the big bad zetec talking of closing a "iphone sucks" thread talking about the iphone sucking Is there any way to block everyone except for Impala from posting in this thread? That way, he can spend all day arguing with himself and proving himself right. at least you wouldn't be posting in it then |
