but Gary Patterson believes that it's ridiculous that they fall in the polls when LOSING to UT.

Yeah, and it's Texas State, not TSU. I got yelled at by some Texas Southern people at the Capitol calling it TSU. But. Yup, no Friday classes. ASG got rid of them through some legislation and President Trauth (Texas State's President) signed off on it. It was getting too expensive for the school to pay for the upkeep of classes (like electricity and such) when students were too hungover to attend classes.
In a way it's good, in a way it sucks. |

I'm not so leary over osu vs ttu next weekend. Looks like Tech should remain undefeated until possibly the Missouri game, which should be a good one. A 7-0 start should be nice....just don't lose all 4 to missouri,colorado,ut, and OU. Just win 2 of those - please ? Dear Harrel - don't fucking give Missouri 17 points in the first 5 minutes of the game. It makes it harder to have a good game, when you are already a close matchup. So let's not repeat last year eh ? Today's picks: USC - 10 . Nebraska self destructs with bad play calling too much....and USC is on a 2 week break Michigan - 7.5 over ND. Come on now....ND can't stop an offense from doing anything, and can't score Florida -7.5 over Tenn. Easily ! In Gainesville, Tebow looking strong, and Tennessee didn't look impressive against Cal TTU - 28 over Rice. I hope we break 60 pts today ! UCLA - 14 over Utah. Utah is missing a lot of players, and UCLA is looking good. i bet we'll see a pretty rusty USC, and nebraska knows their season could hinge on this game... beat USC and they could break the top 10 before a single conference game is played. my bet is that USC lolligags into it thinking nebraska is overrated (which they are).
i think tech will smack rice around like a little bitch, but the game still worries me. i always have a kinda uneasy feeling whenever we're supposed to smack someone around. ever since we lost to north texas after beating #5 A&M. |
