what's the harm in someone buying something and actually liking it for what it is

you can express your opinion and say it isn't the most technologically advanced or current device on the market but who the flying fuck cares

if you buy something and use it for what it is then good...you made a good buy

i would hate to buy some really expensive device and use only for making calls or checking weather/news

at least the iphone is also a nicer mp3 player

damn they really reeled you in w/that thing... you got your iToilet paper yet?

No I'm well aware of what this phone can't do, I just don't care because I didn't want/need them. Its a phone/internet device/media player, nothing more, and it does those things well.

Anyway if you absolutely need flash and 3G and GPS and whatever the fucking else then don't buy this phone. But it does what I want it to do so I think its an awesome phone.

For the record I haven't really browsed the internet on anything but the iPhone sense I got it.

He's making fun because I bought something I didnt like.

What I should have said is, I realized what I wanted in a device and the iPhone fit it the best despite my previous opinion of it. I wanted a large screen that could wirelessly access the Internet because I have a super restrictive work firewall. Once I actually tried using it for that purpose I found that overall, dispute the things it doesn't have, it is still a very capable and easy to use device, worthy of the 300 I paid for it.

Simple solution for not liking an iPhone: don't buy one.

In other news, Apple doesn't care if you hack the fuck out of the iPhone. Granted, it would have been better of them to release an SDK, but I suppose it's better than a lot of other companies' stances of not allowing you to do anything with it.

that's too general of a definition and definitely not the connotation the word "hack" carries... if you guys want to keep thinking you're some kind of super hackers for changing the background on a phone then more power to ya
