I'd waste less time at work if I had more work to do. *shrugs* I don't fuck around when I've got hot systems to get out the door.

I'd do more work if they gave me work and hadn't told me "you will have nothing to do for the first couple of months, so sit on the internet for hours while we pay you."

"Systems with a quickly-approaching ship date". Better?
Our scale of things is "Normal", "Urgent", and "Emergency/Hot". But right now things are fucking DEAD in etch. I don't know that they even would've noticed that I left at 2 today (had to take friends to the airport) if I hadn't sent an email out. -------------------- |

Haha, I was actually just about to mention how you've all of a sudden popped up all over techsans again, spec. I guess that explains that.

Yeah, I'm probably back at #1 in posters again.
*checks* Yep. Beating Brandon by a whole 1 post (2 once I finish this one). *sigh* It's the semiconductor industry... very cyclical. INSANELY OMFG BUSY for a couple of weeks, then a month of mostly downtime. And then like a third of the systems we worked on during the upswing get cancelled anyway. Lately I've just been working on some background non-critical documentation stuff for some retrofits, a bit of online training, and doing some research for one of my friends over in Materials (she used to sit with us over at Engineering). -------------------- |
