Ever since I quit smoking and dipping, I've been really tired throughout the day. That was the only adverse affect of quitting; I've yet to have any withdrawals. I get 7-8 hours of sleep, eat well (enough), and work out daily, but i still lag in the morning and late afternoon. It also might have something to do with the fact that I no longer take ritalin (which was prescribed)

Any legal nutritional supplements or foods? Energy drinks are a complete waste and do nothing for me. Mainly looking for some type of organic food or multivitamin or something

easiest thing to do is to eat whole grains especially in the morning. but if you overdue it or eat starched ones like most bagels itll just make you sleepy

half a bagel (whole wheat preferably but just a half of any kind then whatever) with peanut butter and a piece of fruit in the mid afternoons
or just drink a lot of soda mmmm

Honestly, the best energy supplement I've ever tried is that NoXplode stuff ... doesn't make you all jittery, helps workout out, and I noticed even if I took 1/2 the max dosage in the morning, at least when I was first taking it, I'd be going through the whole day even after my workout was done.

Only problem with it is that it appears to stop working after a month, but that also could be because I was maxing the doasges on it after a week and built up a tolerance to it.

I dunno might be worth a try.

You might look at upping your iron intake, either through food or a vitamin supplement.

My only concern with things like NOXplode are increased heartrate. I've been working out with a club that does MMA and they're busting my ass hard. I don't really want to have a massive coronary. I used to take Ripped Fuel and it seriously fucked with my heart. Might have also had something to do with the fact that I was on adderall/ritalin at the time.

As long as NOXplode is safe I'll try it.

Get more carbs throughout the day, eat 6 small meals instead of 3 big ones, get a good multivitamin, take plenty of b-complex vitamins, get some omga 3s and 6s, drink lots of water, and drink lots of coffee.

Well....they market all that shit as "extreme" or whatever, but truth be told it's really nothing more than caffine and creatine with some stuff in it to mitigate the jitteryness.

I like it .... I'll proably go back on it here before too long if work doesn't pick back up.

I've been eating several small snacks instead of 3 meals. Been taking multivitamins, flax and fishoil. Coffee is my only vice really

I think it has to do more with taking sleeping pills. I drank so damn much the beginning of summer that I had to use sleeping pills to get to sleep, otherwise I'd toss and turn all night. I've slowly weaned my way off them. If you don't get 8 hours of sleep after taking sleeping pills, you're fucked.

Yeah sleeping pills are bad..... at least if you're taking them to fall asleep, waking up groggy as shit, then taking caffine to wake back up .... that's a viscious cycle that I really am glad i'm not in anymore.

That's what I was doing. 3 cigarettes and a few cups of coffee.
