I never have any energy.

I sleep for 8 hours, i wake up tired.

I sleep for 10 hours, i wake up tired.

I sleep for 2 hours, i wake up just as tired as if i had slept for 8.

I never feel like doing anything, even if i'm interested in doing it or if its urgent that i do it.

This has been going on for weeks now, and i want it to stop.

I quit caffeine two days ago maybe that'll help, who knows.

any ideas?

Stay off the caffeine... it'll hurt your energy more at first, but will eventually help. What's your diet like? Do you take a multi-vitamin or any other supplements?

Drink water primarily, if you don't already. See if you're getting enough iron in your diet. Jim took a multi-vitamin, but we discovered that it didn't have any iron... got him an iron supplement too and his energy levels are much better now.

don't drink green tea for that reason

green tea helps prevent certain diseases/cancer but doesn't do much for energy levels, plus is contains caffeine

Decaf green tea might be ok... but yeah, it won't do anything for energy levels.

balanced diet (most important)
multivitamins
working out
getting a consistent amount of sleep at night (no more than 7.5 hours)
going to bed at a somewhat consistent time each night

lowering your techno intake might help as well

and thanks to everyone else for the suggestions. I'll try to keep the ones in mind that don't require me trying to fit something else in my already hellish time schedule

even just walking is very good for energy too. being in a sit down job we take breaks and walk about a mile once a day, definitely keeps the energy up. on days we don't do that (bc we're busy or whatever) my energy level goes way down.

Proper food intake / adequate (to your personal needs) rest / and regular excercise generally fix it.

If not...well, you have no choice but to off yourself.

i already walk about a mile a day, i suppose me doing absolutley nothing over spring break didn't help at all; but i was out of energy prior to that so WHO KNOWS. I'll just try a few things and see what works
