lubbock has one of the largest public art exhibits which is pretty outstanding for a lowbrow city. tech has one of the largest too i believe in the top 5 of all universities in the country.

I can't imagine how terrible the statues would be if they were picked by students. Other than a 90 ft statue of Wes Welker I can't think of anything that would be interesting.

will rogers statue is one of the shittiest ones tech has. will rogers is a damn fictional character from a old tv show! tech has too many mascots. and the "pinball" art work is actually really fucking cool. for people (like zetec who hasnt been at tech for what years now?) who may not know what it actually is/does - you should go find out and maybe learn something about art while you are at it
