Finally took some pics. The living room and dining room are reversed from what was probably intended by the floorplan, but the setup I went with works much better with the furniture I have. Plus, the added advantage of no glare on the TV from the patio windows.

why the hell do you have a medium sized bird cage? Live prey for my cat. j/k... my boyfriend has a parrot (Timneh African Grey), so it's a place for her to stay if he brings her over. The cage was originally at his parents' house in Beaumont, but they're moving overseas, so I ended up with it for now. -------------------- |

She's very closely bonded to Chris, but she's becoming more and more ok with me. She's only a little over a year old, so she's not terribly set in her ways yet. She's snippy mainly when I'm trying to get her out of her cage (unless she's really desperate to get out -- then she's fine) or if she's on Chris' shoulder. She's absolutely fine with me over at my place, because then she's out of her territory.
She surprised me the other day by flying to my shoulder from the top of her cage. Very unprecendented. This post has been edited by Spectatrix: Aug 15 2007, 12:09 PM -------------------- |

thats cool. at a year you will be able to get it friendly with ya.
greys are fun birds. they do lots of things. i generally try to avoid shoulder rides for birds. its a bit of a power position for them. -------------------- |
