QUOTE (rabble @ Mar 21 2006, 08:01 AM)
well, what will happen is the people will sue Little Panda, and in turn Little Panda will sue Taco Bell and then maybe taco bell will sue the builders. Lawsuits happen like that. One person sues one person, so they sue someone else for the same reason as the first person. It lets the courts decide who was really at fault.

neither little panda or taco bell own the building

they said it was some company that did, just leasing it out to both of them....so that company will be help responsible if it comes down to it.

of course on teh news the company that owns it did not respond to the news channels calls

Because they didn't look at the roof, perhaps?

Look at health inspections for asian food places. Always at least 7 criticals. Your normal restraunt will get 2 or 3. I was pissed. I live at 11th and Slide, and the backed up traffic made me late to work.

What's your point? This is about the integrity of the building, not their food handling procedures. It's not like salmonella or whatever caused the roof to collapse.

but if they're not concerned with health code violations, what other possibly dangerous things might they be overlooking?

it was clearly a scummy places in terms of food and atmosphere. it was in a damn 30 year old taco bell building that probably had the original roof.
