I know a lot of you are students, and there's a decent amount of us out of school working too. WTF do you do in a given day (besides school/work)? Not necessarily what are you favorite hobbies, etc, but when you get home from school/work, what do you do? Sit down and watch TV? play some games? go work out? build little wooden ships in bottles? watch movies? knit a scarf? read a book? lay around like a lump scanning through the channels? maybe an even easier question, what did you do after school/work over the past week?

i come home and make some sort of lunch and take my dog out for a walk. ill put my books up and watch some tv. ill read for pleasure or for school with breaks for computer time. ill go out with friends to dinner or hang out with my boyfriend on most days. i end up going for a run later at night with more tv, reading, and internet. before bed i do a little straightening up and cleaning
sounds pretty boring actually but doesn't feel like it ill be working an awesome lab job in the fall so itll be a structured 8-5 lifestyle. i am looking forward to seeing how my daily routines will change -------------------- Little monkeys making money

I went home for most of the past week and saw family/got sunburned/yay.
Then I got back and watched LOTR, played some games, watched some All Star weekend stuff. Class started back up today. Been working on my homework for the past couple hours....been drawing a bunch of pictures symbolic of math and science and one picture symbolic of art. The message? Too much math and science and school and not enough art. This project sucks balls. -------------------- Spam? Isn't that something poor people eat?

i usually don't get home from work until about 6:30, eat some dinner or pick up somethin for my parents and i. then usually catch some TV, discovery or history channel kinda stuff, or if the 'stros are on i watch them for sure. that stuff is over by around 9-9:30, then i'll hop on the comp and play around, work on some personal project i got goin or other stuff. that'll run me up to midnight or 1 am or so, then i take a shower and hop in bed, watch TV for an hour or so until I fall asleep. get up at 8, get to work by 8:45 or so, rinse, repeat. sometimes my good friend who works for the astros GM office gets tickets and i'll go to a game right after work. been to about 8 games so far this season
 also i'm terrible for re-watching the same movies over and over, and will lots of times turn on all the home theater crap and watch a movie i've seen like 100 times (typical ones being any star wars, lotr, crimson tide, or any 'jack ryan' movie)

I work from 745ish to 5. After that, I work out and run till 8 or so, then go straight to the bar. Not necessarily to drink, just to hang out. Most of my friends hang out there as well. I guess it's our chill place.
I don't think I've watched TV in months. Staying at home alone is depressing. When I don't go up there, I skate, play guitar, and play drums. --------------------   |

i go to work from 8-5ish, work it's self is pretty interesting, way better than the security bullshit. after work, i usually get on the internet and unwind, followed by swimming 2-3 times a week usually with roommates and friends. we'll make food at home usually. after that, i'll usually head over to my girlfriends and hang out with her, and usually sleep there. every thursday we go to Speeds for cheap alcohol and free pool. sundays we go to Crickets for free pool and shuffleboard.

Work from about 9:30-7, workout for about an hour. Go home and play guitar/pool/or tv.
Weekends I go out with friends, mountains, float the river or leave town. -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears!

Let's see...
5:30am - Rise and shine 6:00am - breakfast and news catch-up 6:30am - in the car 7:00am - arrive at work 11:30am - lunch 12:30pm - back at work 4:30-5pm - in the car 5:30pm - arrive home 6:00pm - check e-mail 6:30pm - run 7:30pm - quick shower 7:45pm - eat dinner after that it's pretty much relax and do whatever till about 10. On days that I'm traveling I usually do not go to work, instead I do some work from home and then head to the airport about 3 hours before my flight (4-5 if it's international). After work I usually get home, feed the cat, work out in some form or fashion, make dinner, eat, do various chores around the house (dishes, clean up the kitchen, empty out the Roomba's bin, etc.), then putz around on the internet, read, or play something on the PS2.
If I'm going over to my boyfriend's, I'll go home and change into street clothes, feed the cat, sometimes go ahead and work out, then head over to his place to get some dinner and watch a movie (yay Netflix) or something on his computer. -------------------- |
