first off, cops have to enforce the laws no matter the odds. they may retreat while in danger, but there is no compromise to upholding the law. that's part of their code of ethic. they can't just "pick their battles"

2nd, i'm sure this is the 2nd or 3rd time he's chased off those kids that day. why the fuck else do you think one of the kids was convieniantly taping it? they knew it was going to happen, because they had done it before. yes cathryn... run them off so they think it's a game and come back, just to get more bold and push it further and further.
and on another post you made earlier about the excessive violence on minorities. fuck them. those people need to be beaten more. the more dumb shit i see these people doing while working, the more i actually think white people should truelly be the master race.

actually, i usually handle about 50-120 arrests each day that involve jaywalking, littering, or telephone harrassment. it happens quite a bit.

maybe its because you live in lubbock and these kids were in arkansas

plenty of police officers let people off, scare people off, tell people to disperse. you dont have to arrest everyone you come into contact with and thats not even doing your job as a police officer.

brandon you dont technically arrest anyone. you are picking up people for warrants and court correct? then you arent arresting them for jaywalking and dont know the circumstances around their prior arrests

do you know how many videos of kids skateboarding there is? do you know how many have contact with a cop? very few of them end in arrests especially choking out a kid. they are teens of course they are going to be inconsiderate. cops cant handle the situation like that every time otherwise they are going to be constantly choking kids

if it was a real cop ie not one in bike shorts and a polo who had to wait for a patrol car to come, the situation would have been totally different. they would have been told to just leave at most threaten arrest. that bike cop/security officer did all that crazy shit for something the kids would have been/will be automatically released for. if you arent aware skating on a public street is not a felony nor do you get 9years in prison for. thats why most cops who actually have stuff to do dont bother with it because all it ends up being is paperwork'

search the kids name and the ark springs paper - the cop was put on administrative leave

there was another cop there who didnt do anything. obviously that cop thought that one cop was a crazy. obviously it wasnt a big deal. brandon your solution to everything is to destroy it. hugely dangerous for a police officer
what would ahve happened if after that girl was in a choke by the cop she pushed him? step up from that what hed pull his gun?

actually, i have access to the complete police records, including all Statements of the situations from all people involved. anybody that we attempt to put on bond, i review their entire history to determine if i trust this person to be out of jail and pay us, and not run. quit assuming you know things.

Anyways, on topic: The kids were dicks, but the cop seemed to respond more out of anger/frustration than out of any sense of duty or respect for that ordinance. The force was excessive.
